2017 survey results

In 2017, the major concerns were potholes, pavements and overgrown hedges. This has probably not changed. There is a Fix My street website where issues can be reported. This is important since the council only takes responsibility after a report has been made.

Access to Burnham Health Centre was difficult. The NHS has introduced several new ways of getting advice and appointments and it is worth trying as many methods as possible.

The volume of traffic, congestion and parking on pavements continue, made worse by the school transport requirements.

Schools were an issue with most primary school places fully allocated. In 2019, Burnham Academy closed. Existing students were all offered places at Bourne End Academy. Burnham Grammar school is bring rebuilt in front of the existing building which will then be demolished.
