  • Event: Jul 2, 2022 3:30 PM

I hope you will be able to join us for a drink with your local Lib Dem's and/or to help deliver some resident surveys.

The plan is to meet from 3.30pm to delivery resident surveys. Meeting place:

Outside the Marlow Donkey, Station Road, Marlow, SL7 1NW

This is 1 minute from Marlow Train station or if you are driving there is parking on Station approach or 5 minutes away on Institute Road, SL7 1BN. Don't worry if you have never delivered resident surveys before as we will be doing this in pairs and there will be plenty of experienced campaigners there.

  • Reedham Road
    Article: Feb 22, 2022

Burnham High Street has the potential to be a vibrant local centre. It has independent shops, a baker and butcher; a post office; restaurants and pubs; craft and gift shops.
Unfortunately, traffic congestion caused by cars stopping on the pavements and large trucks trying to get through the historic area have damaged our high street.
There was a relief road for trucks, with unloading areas for delivery trucks and disabled parking, which just needed better signs.
Then Bucks Council restricted it to one lane at the worst possible so delivery trucks block one or other of the car park entrances.
Just at a time when small business needs all the support it can get.
Our new Conservative Bucks Councillors did nothing.
Burnham needs better representatives who listen to local needs, not following the Aylesbury Conservative line.
